“Within one week last October, my daughter-in-law and I (in two separate incidents) hit deer in Princeton while we were going 20 m.p.h., causing $3,000 dollars worth of damage to each of our cars.”

Barbara Essig with grandson Jacob, Princeton

“Animals need trees to survive and many trees are being cut down in the area. I feel angry because the animals should be able to survive and people are cutting trees down and destroying their habitats.”

Leah Williamson, Princeton

“This is not just a human world, it is an ecosystem that we are a part of and need to live in in conjunction with the animals. It’s the responsibility of public servants to cooperate.”

Anna Kitzes, visiting her daughter in Princeton

“A woodchuck in my yard was turning into a real nuisance moving dirt around closer to the house, and then there was a second woodchuck in my yard. The animal control officer trapped the woodchucks in a have-a-heart trap. And, it has not been a problem since.”

Jo Butler, Princeton

“A very brazen squirrel has been eating all the bird food from our bird feeder. I have chased him up our willow tree and he keeps coming back. The birds are not happy.”

Craig Wert, Lawrenceville
