Princeton Senior Resource Center will host a brown bag discussion on “Flu Shots & Immunizations” on Friday June 11, at noon, in the Suzanne Patterson Building, 45 Stockton Street. Cosponsored by Princeton Healthcare System and led by Dr. Shannon E. Aymes, the discussion will offer the latest information on the flu, answering such questions as including what is the flu, why do we need the flu shot every year, who should get the flu shot, and what people need to know about H1N1. It will also provide information on the pneumonia and shingles vaccines. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch. Beverages and dessert will be provided. The program is free, but pre-registration is suggested; call (609) 924-7108.

CEO Kate Bech reports that the YMCA of Princeton is seeking nominations for their 2010 Centennial Awards, to be presented “to remarkable individuals in our community who have dedicated themselves to nurturing, supporting and guiding others to achieve their goals and to aspire to be their very best selves.”
