Dyer-Thrash. Dr. Jennifer Christy Dyer, daughter of Lt. Col. Brooks Christy Dyer and Dr. Teena Cahill of Princeton, and Dr. and Mrs. Melvyn Weissman of Colorado Springs, Colo., to Dr. Frederic P. Thrash, son of Janine Piron Thrash of Little Rock, Ark. and the late Cecil Thrash of New York City.
Dr. Dyer is a 1988 graduate of The George School in Newtown, Pa. She received her B.A. in East Asian Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz, her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, and her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of the Rockies in Colorado Springs. She is a forensic psychologist for the Colorado State Dept. of Human Services.
Dr. Thrash, a grandson of Louisette Piron of Monte Carlo, Monaco, received his bachelor’s degree in French from the University of Alabama and his doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. He works in general dentistry for Perfect Teeth in Colorado Springs.
A June 26 wedding is planned in Colorado Springs, with the reception at the base of Pikes Peak at the historic Cliff House Hotel in Manitou Springs, Colorado.
A July wedding in Montecito, California is planned.
