As DWI Arrests Continue to Increase Borough Police Monitor Drunk Driving

A serious crackdown on drunk driving in Princeton Borough has been taking place over the last few years. According to Borough Police records, the number of drunk driving arrests has quadrupled over the last four years, with 126 arrests in 2003, compared to 32 arrests in 2000. Last week, five people were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in the Borough.

Charges Against SAVE Are Dismissed; Fence Found to Be Temporary Solution

SAVE, Princeton's long-time animal shelter located on Herrontown Road, appeared in Princeton Township's Municipal Court on Tuesday, after receiving two summonses over the noise from barking dogs at the facility. Charges were dismissed, as the facility came to a private arrangement with the Township, said Sara Nicolls, the executive director of SAVE.

PHS Parking Is Addressed by Council; Board Candidates Are Uncontested

Five Princeton High School students addressed the school's student parking problem at a Borough Council meeting on Tuesday, February 24.
