A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues

Question of the Week: "Are you planning to see the "The Passion of the Christ" movie and why?"

"No. From what I have heard on PRB and the other radio stations, it seems like it is a highly brutalized version of Christ. And one of the things that I remember they said is that the goodness of Jesus and what he did is lost in depicting for two hours how terrible was the crucifixion. There are also anti-Semitism issues as well, which is a problem."

– Balbar Kabany, Moore Street

"Definitely not. I do not like Mel Gibson, I do not like his ideas."

– Marcie Bader, Parkside Drive

"Yes. I do indeed plan on seeing the movie. I think it is going to be a good movie."

– Tom Rooney, Jefferson Road

"No. The topic just does not interest me, and all the controversy wants me to stay away from it."

– Kara Rouleau, Cox's Market

"I do not want to see it. I have been reading about it. First of all, it does not seem like a very good movie – very violent and I am not particularly interested in the religious aspects of it."

– Richard Chisholm, Chestnut Street
