A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues
I dont want it to compete with our beautiful downtown here, so I have concerns about that. Princetons downtown brings people to the community and brings the community together, so the possibility of changing it concerns me. Helen Rose, Franklin Avenue |
As an alumna, this is all very interesting to me. I can see where the University would really like to participate in the community, but I am not sure if they communicate that to the people who live here. I would have to find out more about the arts and transit neighborhood, but there could be pluses. Danielle Gordon, Nassau Street |
I am looking forward to a greater concentration of arts and theater venues in Princeton and I like the concept of a walking-friendly campus. As far as the Dinky, having it further from the center of town would make it less convenient for other people. Sandra Milevski, Mount Lucas Road |
I think that some of it sounds really good, especially the arts center. The Dinky I am not sure about. It is such an institution around here I am not sure that it should be moved. Maybe I am just old fashioned. Marilyn Abramson, Poe Road |
I think that it could be a new, interesting dynamic area of town that people might enjoy. The extra walk to the Dinky wont be too difficult. Adrian Kreipke, with Bridgitte, Maple Street |
