The Princeton Township Committee and Princeton Borough Council will hold a Special Joint Meeting to hear a presentation by Appraisal Systems about the Township and Borough’s revaluation project on Wednesday, March 31, at 7 p.m. in the main meeting room at 400 Witherspoon Street. No formal action will be taken.

Many Princeton residents lost power and landline phone service last weekend during the devastating storm that hit the area. While the Township Police Department activated the Mass Notification System, residents without power and phone service were not able to receive calls. Residents who missed these calls can add their cell phone numbers to the database, to help ensure that they will receive important calls whenever phone service or power is out. To add a cell phone number go to http://princetontwp.org/emsregform.html, or call (609) 688-2037.

Princeton Township has waived all permit fees relevant to electrical services damaged by the recent storm. The waiver will be in effect until April 2, and pertains only to customer-owned service equipment (the wire and meter attached to a house). Permits and inspections are still required in order to get power restored. Those who need this type of assistance are asked to call the Building Department at (609) 921-7078. If only the electric line from the house to the utility pole has been damaged, contact P.S.E.&G.
