The Princeton Township Flood & Stormwater Management Committee will hold a special meeting on Monday, April 5, at 4 p.m. in the Princeton Township Municipal Building, meeting room B, 400 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, to review “Flooding and the Reanalysis of the Township’s Stormwater Control Ordinance.”

The Princeton Township Committee and Princeton Borough Council will hold a Special Joint Meeting to hear a presentation about revaluation by Appraisal Systems on Wednesday, March 31, at 7 p.m. in the main meeting room, 400 Witherspoon Street. No formal action will be taken.

The Coalition For Peace Action (CFPA) is sponsoring “In Hiroshima’s Shadow: Prospects for Global Nuclear Disarmament Then and Now,” a multi-media presentation by Marvin Miller of MIT’s Science, Technology, and Society Program on Monday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m., at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton, 50 Cherry Hill Road.

Yes We CAN! Food Drives will hold its next food drive on Saturday, April 10, at Montgomery ShopRite, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Volunteers will be outside the market asking shoppers to buy and donate an extra can or box of food or fresh produce to restock the food shelves at the Crisis Ministry pantries in Princeton and Trenton. Yes We CAN! Food Drives helps supply ten percent of the monthly food needs for the Ministry, which, in turn, provides free food for 3,000 people each month, including 1,000 children. Haiti’s ambassador to the United States Raymond Alcide Joseph will speak on “Haiti After the Earthquake” at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, in Richardson Auditorium, Alexander Hall, on the Princeton University campus. The talk is free and open to the public, but advance tickets are required. Tickets will be available from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, at the Richardson Auditorium ticket office. After March 31, tickets may be picked up at the University Ticketing office in Frist Campus Center from noon to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, while supplies last. The address will also be simulcast live in 50 McCosh Hall, where no tickets are required. It will be archived online at a later date on the University’s WebMedia site.
