Gertrude D. Cruser

Gertrude Danbury Cruser, 81, of Washington Township, formerly of Princeton, died May 7 at the Robbinsville home of her daughter. Her family was at her side.

Born in Allentown Pa., she lived most of her life in Princeton. She was a graduate of Princeton High School, class of 1941, and a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church.

She retired in 1999 from the Princeton University Housing Department with over 33 years of service.

Wife of the late John C. Cruser Sr. and sister of the late Carl L. Danbury, she is survived by a daughter, Carol A. Offredo of Robbinsville; four sons, John C. Jr. and David, both of Hightstown, Danford of New Port Richey, Fla., and Richard of Princeton; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, May 12 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, 214 Nassau Street. Interment will follow in Princeton Cemetery.

Mitchell Dielhenn

H. Mitchell "Mitch" Dielhenn, 54, of AIbuquerque, N.M., formerly of Princeton, died February 12 in AIbuquerque of cardiovascular disease.

He was born and raised in Princeton, the son of Anne M. Dielhenn and the late John C. Dielhenn.

Mr. Dielhenn attended Princeton Country Day School, graduated from Holderness School in 1966, and attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He was interested in the arts, especially music, and had a special love of the guitar.

He is survived by his mother, Anne Dielhenn; a brother, Arthur of Studio City, Calif.; and a sister, Jane Dielhenn Otis of Northbrook, Ill.

A memorial service was held at Church of the Redeemer, Bryn Mawr, Pa. Interment was in Princeton Cemetery.

William F. Sowarby Jr.

William F. Sowarby Jr., 79, of Kingston, died May 9 at the Applegarth Care Center in Monroe Township.

Born in New York City, he lived most of his life in Kingston.

He worked for many years in New York City as a messenger in the publishing industry.

Son of the late Marguerite Schuler Sowarby and William F. Sowarby Sr., he is survived by an aunt, Heinricka Schuler of Kingston.

Private services and burial will be in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
