Amanda
Schivell and Dirk McCulloch
Schivell-McCulloch. Amanda Elizabeth Schivell, daughter of John and Chrystal Schivell of Princeton, to Dirk Yuji McCulloch, son of Theo and Keun Hii McCulloch of Bellevue, Wash., on March 19 in Seattle, Wash.
The bride, 34, known as Mandy, is a graduate of Princeton High School and Stanford University. She received her Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the University of Washington, where she is now a lecturer in the Genome Sciences Department.
The bridegroom, 33, a graduate of the University of Washington, is an architect with Magellan Architects of Redmond, Wash.
Prior to meeting her
husband, Ms. Schivell began the adoption of a baby girl, Kailin,
born in Kazakhstan, whom the couple have raised together. The
family lives in Seattle.
