After a brilliant early career in writing for television (The Phil Silvers Show, Sid Caesar's Your Show of Shows) Neil Simon burst into the world of playwriting in the 1960s with a string of hits, four of which – Barefoot in the Park, The Odd Couple, Sweet Charity and The Star-Spangled Girl – ran simultaneously on Broadway during the 1966-67 season.

Now that the Richardson Chamber Players has established itself as a consistently high quality performing ensemble with an impressive roster of musicians, it seems that co-artistic directors Nathan Randall and Michael Pratt have turned their attention away from the mainstream to present unique and rarely-heard repertoire, including works with an unusual connection to Princeton University's past.
