Skover-Kostera. Kathryn L. Kostera, daughter of Sarah Kostera of Hammondsport, N.Y., and the late Edward Kostera, to Nickolai V. Skover, son of Greg and Georgie Skover of Princeton, on August 25 at St. Lukes Chapel in Charleston, S.C.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Hammondsport High School. She received her B.A. from the College of Charleston, and holds an M.A. in health administration from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is employed as an HR Technical Analyst for Hagemeyer NA.
Born in San Francisco and raised in Princeton, the groom graduated with the class of 1997 from Princeton High School and attended the College of Charleston. He is the general manager of Torch in Charleston, a real estate investment and property management company.
The couple will continue to reside in Charleston with their dogs Donnie and Lefty.
Perkins-Thomas. Sarah Newman Perkins, daughter of Gladys Lovering Perkins of West Acton Village, Mass. and John N. H. Perkins of Princeton, to Donald Wyman Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Thomas of Weston, Mass., on Saturday, October 6 at Saint Annes in the Fields Episcopal Church in Lincoln, Mass. The Rev. Noah H. Evans officiated.
Mary Potter See of Rochester, Mass., the brides aunt, served as her matron of honor. Keith Royden Ward of Weston, Mass. was the grooms best man. The brides brothers, Thomas Perkins and Timothy Perkins of Princeton, served as ushers and readers. Jonathan Cressy of Rancho Santa Marita, Calif., brother-in-law of the groom, also served as an usher.
The bride is a graduate of The Brooks School, Concord, Mass., Friends Academy, South Dartmouth, Mass., and Middlesex School in Concord, Mass. She graduated cum laude from Mt. Holyoke College with an A.B. in art and sociology. She will continue serving as a faculty member in the Art Department at the Dexter-Southfield School in Brookline, Mass., where she has taught for the past 13 years.
The groom graduated from the Fessenden School in West Newton, Mass. and Noble and Greenough in Dedham, Mass. He received his B.A. in English from Kenyon College, his M.Ed. from Boston College, and his CAGS from Simmons College in Boston. He has been a teacher at the Dexter School in Brookline for 14 years, where he also coaches the Dexter High School boys varsity lacrosse team.
The couple will reside in Brookline.
