Town Talk

A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues

Question of the Week:

“What do you like best about the book sale, and what are you looking for?”
(Asked at the Friends of the Princeton Public Library Book Sale)

“Wide selection of books and all in such good condition and not that expensive. I’m looking for books that I can enjoy and read over and over again.”

Allison Lin, West Windsor

Trang: “Choosing books that have actually been read and used before; someone has enjoyed them. I’m particularly looking for children’s books, reference, and travel books.” Ershaan: “I’m looking around for special books that look interesting.” Aaliyah: “Car books.” Farhat “Chapter books like Junie B. Jones books.”

“What I like best about the book sale is all of the dust in the books. Today, I’m looking for a bargain on something I couldn’t buy at Borders.”

James Fabris, Princeton

“I could spend the whole day here. I didn’t come looking for anything in particular. I have been just sucked in.”

Willo Carey, Saint David’s, Pa

“We are book collectors and we still read real books. A book sale is always wonderful. Actually, we have contributed some of the books that are for sale.”

Richard Bergman, Princeton

“I come to get books for my classroom. I’m a teacher and I can find a ton of books here cheaply.”

Jennifer with husband Ralph Simon, Hamilton

“Looking to find new authors that I have never heard of before. Looking for new information.”

Wendy Jacobs, Yardley, Pa
