Opening Day Delayed for Five Princeton Schools

Opening day for Princeton Regional Schools has been delayed one day because of unmet building code requirements at five district school buildings undergoing construction, officials said.

Despite having contractors working double shifts for the past month, Princeton Regional School Board Vice President Anne Burns said the school renovation and construction budget is in excellent financial shape. She made this comment at a meeting last Tuesday night of the Regional School Board, the final meeting before this week's opening of schools.

Princeton Resident Anne Gossen Named Curator of Historic Morven

Young, maybe, but inexperienced she is not. With renovations to Morven nearing completion and its reopening as a museum expected soon, Historic Morven Inc., the organization that oversees the mansion, recently named Anne Gossen, who lives in Princeton with her husband, as curator. Ms. Gossen received a bachelor of arts degree from Harvard University in 2000 in the history of art and architecture with a specialization in American decorative arts (art objects other than paintings).
