FORM AND FUNCTION: “Our style is in the functionality of the furniture. It is all done by our designers and in the BoConcept style. You won’t see our furniture elsewhere.” Thomas Jacobsen, manager of BoConcept Princeton, is seated in one of the popular Imola chairs, known for its unique design.

Functionality and design are key to the furniture and accessories at BoConcept Design Princeton, located at Nassau Park Pavilion, 640 Nassau Park Boulevard on Route One South.

The showroom, which opened in 2009, is one of more than 250 BoConcept franchises worldwide, featuring Danish customized urban design furniture. Begun in Denmark in 1952, the company has always emphasized function and style, creating quality furniture that is modern, sophisticated, and durable. There are now 31 BoConcept showrooms in the U.S. The Princeton location is owned by Peter Chong.

CLEAR VISION: “In my practice, I see patients of all ages, and focus on three specific areas: children, glaucoma, and specialty contact lenses.” An optometric physician (optometrist), Dr. Charles Allen, O.D., F.A.A.O., is shown looking into a bio-microscope slit lamp, which helps to detect external and internal pathology, including glaucoma.

“On a clear day, rise and look around you …

“How it will astound you …

“On a clear day, you can see forever …”

“And ever … and ever ….”

As the song suggests, seeing everything clearly can make all the difference. For many people, wearing glasses or contact lenses makes this possible. Others may be fortunate enough to see clearly without the aid of glasses, and still others, especially children, may not even be aware they are not seeing clearly.
