Rachel Kuhe and Peter Hegener

Kuhe-Hegener. Rachel Bommer Kuhe of West Hartford, Conn., and Peter Wilhelm Hegener of Princeton will be married on Saturday, September 25 at the Federated Church in Edgartown, Mass. The Rev. Daphne Hawkes, an Episcopal priest, will perform the ceremony with the Rev. Jerry Fritz taking part. Ms. Kuhe, 58, met Mr. Hegener, 66, three years ago on Martha¹s Vineyard.

Ms. Kuhe attended Wells College. She worked in public television in Rochester, N.Y., and served on numerous community boards before moving to West Hartford, Conn. in 1976. She then worked in grant development and served on the board of the Science Museum of Connecticut for many years. In 1982 she started her own firm designing and importing Portuguese needle point rugs. She is currently an interior decorator and antique dealer in West Hartford.

Mr. Hegener was born in Dusseldorf, Germany. A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, he is a former director of Career Services at Princeton University and was co-founder and CEO of Peterson¹s Guides, Inc., a leading educational reference source publisher. Upon the sale of the company to the Thomson Corporation in 1995, he became head of mergers and acquisitions for the company's Education Division. Most recently he started a new career developing real estate projects in Princeton, known as eparkventures, LLC. He also serves on the board of the International House in New York and is a publishing consultant for American University in Cairo.

The couple will live in Princeton, West Hartford, and Martha¹s Vineyard.


Nancy Anne Rothberg and David Barnes

Rothberg-Barnes. Nancy Anne Rothberg, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Harvey Rothberg of Princeton, to David Barnes, son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Barnes of Needham, Mass.

Father Patrick Connor, S.V.D., performed the June 19 ceremony in Miller Chapel, Princeton Theological Seminary. Courtney Muller was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids included Jennifer and Jessie Crane and Dr. Robin Norris, childhood friends of the bride. Jonathan Barnes, brother of the groom, was best man. A reception at Prospect House on the Princeton University campus followed the ceremony.

The bride's father is a retired physician in the Princeton Medical Group. The groom's parents are middle school educators in the public schools of Needham.

The bride and groom met at Lafayette College, from which both graduated. The bride was an honor student in art history; the groom majored in psychology and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. They are graduates of Princeton High School and Needham High School, respectively.

The couple recently returned from Hong Kong, where Mr. Barnes worked for Bloomberg, L.P., and Mrs. Barnes worked in the Asian art/antiques business. They currently reside in Cambridge, Mass., where he is a student at Harvard Business School and she continues to pursue a career in fine arts.


Lindsay Sullivan and Kipp Telman

Sullivan-Telman. Lindsay Wyckoff Sullivan, daughter of Brian P. Sullivan of Princeton and Linda B. Sullivan of Princeton and Casey Key, Fla., to Kipp Richard Telman, son of Phillip R. Telman of Lincroft and Patricia A. Williamson-Saunders of Tyler, Texas. The Rev. Daphne W. P. Hawkes performed the September 18 ceremony at the home of the bride¹s mother in Princeton.

Nina Aron of Brooklyn, N.Y. was maid of honor; Christopher Mauer of New Brunswick served as best man.

The bride, 26, is a program coordinator at DesignWrite, a medical education firm in Princeton. She graduated from Douglass College with a degree in communication. Her father is a senior partner in the law firm of Stevens & Lee; her mother is a gallerist. Mrs. Telman is the granddaughter of Eleanor H. Sullivan, formerly of Princeton, now residing in Monroe Township, and the late Edward D. Sullivan, Dean of the College at Princeton University from 1966 to 1973. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Fernand Baruch, formerly of Princeton, now residing in Sarasota, Fla. and Springfield, Maine.

The groom, 34, is a self-employed carpenter. His father is a systems engineer at AT&T, his mother a retired AT&T executive. Mr. Telman is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Telman of Grand Rapids, Mich. His maternal grandparents are Mrs. Pat Rose of Webster, Fla. and the late John Williamson of Croton, Mich.

The couple resides in Lawrenceville.


Samantha Utaski and Mark Bean

Utaski-Bean. Samantha Utaski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Utaski of Skillman, to Mark Bean of Lawrenceville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Bean of Cherry Hill.

The Rev. Joseph Biniek performed the May 8 ceremony at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Middleburg, Va. The matron of honor was Mirian Banfe, the bridesmaids Christine Heath and Cadi Epperson. Daniel Cannon was best man for the groom; the groomsmen were Jason Mazal, Guy Lombardo, and Joel Peterson.

The bride graduated from Princeton Day School and received a B.A. degree from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa.

The groom graduated from Pennsauken High School and received a B.S. degree from Rider University in Lawrenceville. A technical consultant for Dow Jones Newswires, he is currently attending the executive MBA program at N.Y.U. Stern in New York City.

The wedding reception was held at the Goodstone Inn in Middleburg, Va. The couple resides in Pennington.
