The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a “Business After Business Evening Networking Reception” on Thursday, August 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, 3525 Quakerbridge Road, IBIS Plaza #903 in Hamilton. The cost to attend for Chamber members is $20 and $30 for non-members. Advance reservations can be made at www.princetonchamber.org or by calling (609) 924-1776.

Adults who want to reconnect with learning opportunities for either professional or personal reasons are invited to “Back to School Night for Adults,” hosted by Mercer County Community College’s Center for continuing Studies on August 14 at 5 p.m. at the Conference Center on the West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami recently drew the party column positions for the county’s official election ballots for the November 4 presidential election. Senators Barack Obama and John McCain are in columns A and B, respectively. Seven other candidates have slots on the ballot, including Ralph Nader (Independent) and Bob Barr (Libertarian).

The Princeton Community Democratic Organization (PCDO) will hold a grand opening celebration for its Princeton headquarters, at 162 Nassau Street, on Sunday, August 17, at 4 p.m. The HQ is located on the second floor, above Nassau Interiors, in the third building north of the corner of Washington and Nassau Streets.
