Sitting under a red umbrella and reading to youngsters at the Mary Moss Park on John Street last week, Township Committeeman Lance Liverman proved to be a man of many talents.
I came here to meet the love of my life, said Jack, played by Jeffrey Alan Davis. And you are her. The intimate moment was interrupted by a voiceover correcting his grammar, saying, You are she.
Matt Landau appears very much at home in Panama, began a recent article in U.S. News & World Report about expatriates working abroad. One might even be tempted to call him an old hand, continued the piece, were he not, at age 25, so confoundingly young.
As she finished a reading from George Bernard Shaws play, Mrs. Warrens Profession, Emily Mann expressed the hope that many of those in the audience in the Keifer Auditorium at Monroe Village on Monday afternoon would be attending the McCarter Theatre production of the play she will directing early next year. Judging from the wide-ranging discussion led by the McCarters artistic director with residents of the senior living facility, it seemed likely that they would indeed attend the play, which will run from January 9 through Februrary 15, 2009.
