Weddings


Alice Morrison and Jotham Johnson

Morrison-Johnson. Alice Leigh Morrison, daughter of John D. Morrison Jr. of Cuthbert, Ga. and the late Brenda G. Morrison, to Jotham Thomas Johnson, son of Jo and Grace Johnson of Blawenburg, on June 23 at Amicalola Falls in Dawsonville, Ga. Becky Smith of Pottstown, Pa. performed the ceremony.

Matrons of honor were Elizabeth Howell and Courtney Pirozzi. Bridesmaids were Jaime Morrison, Andrea Johnson, Sarah Johnson, and Katie Mather. Alex Johnson was the best man; he groomsmen were Josh Greenhill, Rick Morgan, Andrew Sweetland, Chris Constant, Todd Helfrich, and Dan Lips. Flower girls were Brendalin Morrison and Maileigh Morrison. Will Morrison was the ring bearer.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Randolph-Clay High School where she was valedictorian. She graduated cum laude with a dual bachelor's degree in religion and English from Mercer University in Macon, Ga. in 1999. She completed her Master of Divinity degree with honors in 2002 at Princeton Theological Seminary, and completed two Ph.D. seminars at Princeton University in 2002. She is employed as an instructor of theology at The Hill School in Pottstown.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Mass. He earned his bachelor's degree in politics from Princeton University in 2000, and received his master's degree in education in 2006 from Villanova University. He is a history instructor at The Hill School.

The couple resides in Pottstown.



Andrew Rostami and Angela Johnson

Johnson-Rostami. Angela Adele Johnson, daughter of Warren and Sherrill Johnson of St. Louis, Mo., to Andrew Kamron Rostami, son of Arde and June Rostami of Skillman, on July 21 at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Providence, R.I.

A reception followed at the Roger Williams Casino Mansion.

Carolina Johnson and Daniella Johnson, sisters of the bride, were maids of honor. The bridesmaids were Sara Fay, Samantha Cordon, Katherine Koshetz, and Mena Ryley. Robert Eaton, in memoriam, was the best man. The groomsmen were Marc Rostami, brother of the groom, John DiMarco, Michael Askin, and Shamit Saha.

The bride is a graduate of St. Peter Marian High School in Worcester, Mass. She received her B.A. degree in behavioral neuroscience from Colgate University, where she was a member of the acappella group the Resolutions. She is currently attending Yale University pursuing a master's degree in nursing/midwifery.

The groom was the 1997 valedictorian of Montgomery High School and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout from Troop 46. He is a magna cum laude engineering graduate of Cornell University and a chartered financial analyst. He received his MBA degree as a Palmer Scholar from the Wharton Business School. He will be employed as a management consultant with Bain & Company in Boston.

Following a honeymoon trip to Spain and South Africa, the couple will make their home in Boston.
