The Princeton Public Library Board of Trustees meeting originally scheduled for August 19 will be held on Thursday, September 4, at 5:30 p.m. in the library’s Community Room.

Princeton Regional Health Department Officer David A. Henry has asked Borough residents, landlords, and business owners to help keep Borough streets clean and free from garbage and debris by making sure that garbage and recycling are out on the correct days; putting garbage in either plastic or metal cans with tight fitting lids; picking up garbage, debris, bottles, etc., from in front of your home, rental unit, or place of business; making sure your property and sidewalk areas are free of debris; being a good neighbor and helping to keep your neighbor’s front yard/sidewalk clean if they are elderly or disabled. The Ladies Auxiliary of the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad will sponsor a Fall Flea Market at the squad house, 237 North Harrison Street, on Saturday, September 13, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Participants keep the money they earn; the Auxiliary’s own tables benefit the Rescue Squad. Open House at Dorothea’s House, 120 John Street, Princeton, on Saturday, September 6, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. for students of Italian. Meet with the teachers to decide which level of grammar or conversation classes is appropriate for you.
