Murphy-Starkey. Amanda Erin Murphy, daughter of Donald and Vicki Murphy of Lake Forest, Illinois to Timothy Hance Starkey, son of Pamela Haines Hughes and Austin Clarence and Ann Place Starkey of Pennington.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of St. George’s School and earned her bachelor’s degree with honors from Northwestern University in 2000. She is currently the Product Manager of the Children’s Division of the Moret Group in New York, N.Y. The prospective bridegroom attended Chapin School, Peddie School, and earned his bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University in 2000. He is a Financial Advisor, Certified Financial Planner Certificant and Partner of a Wealth Management Team at Merrill Lynch in Yardley.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, September 20, 2008 in Middletown, Rhode Island. Reverend Edward B. Mulligan, IV Chaplain of St. George’s School, will officiate at the ceremony. This will be the first wedding ceremony Rev. Mulligan will perform in his new role as IV Chaplain of St. George’s School. A reception will follow at the Castle Hill Inn in Newport, Rhode Island. The couple will honeymoon in Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. They reside in Hoboken, N.J.
