A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues
I'm looking forward to the trilogy, The Brother/Sister Plays. The opportunity to work on it as well as to see the incorporation of the Yoruban tradition with the plays is exciting. I've read the plays and am interested in seeing them mounted. There are two directors doing three plays and I'm excited at being part of that. Anthony Sanford, Franklin, Va. |
We always get the 3-2-1 pass, which is three plays and 3 other things. We're particularly interested in seeing Lang Lang, the very entertaining classical pianist. Lydia Frank, Riverside Drive |
First on my list is the BD Wong show, Herringbone. Janice Painter, Hopewell |
We are boosters and supporters of McCarter from way back. I'm looking forward to the Shakespeare production and also Herringbone. Fay Abelson, Witherspoon Street |
Herringbone is a most unusual show. It is a one-man show written many years ago and not done very often. The Lanford Wilson play, Telly's Folly, is one of his best and is also not done often. Mrs. Warren's Profession is another play not done much lately and I'm looking forward to that as well. As we come to the end of the summer we have to start thinking ahead and I am very excited about what is coming up. Dick Swain, Moran Avenue |
