Town Talk

A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues

Question of the Week:

“Now that Labyrinth Books and the U-Store have filled retail voids on Nassau Street, what would you still like to see in downtown Princeton?”

“I would like to see more one-of-a-kind boutiques, for they are what I have seen disappear over the years.”

Sarah Mackenzie, Pennington

“I would like to do as much of my shopping as I can in downtown Princeton. More clothing stores would always be welcome. It would also be good to have stores that are more diversified like some on Route 1 that offer things that we can’t seem to get downtown — like housewares and linens.”

Eileen Kelly, Princeton

“I’d like to see all kinds of shoes and handbags.”

“A department store type of shop, where you could go in and find a wide variety of items, rather than having to go here and there.”

Lorna Sharon, Princeton

“We would all like to see a teenage clothing store!”
