Public Works staff and members of the Princeton Environmental Commission will give presentations on leaf management on Monday, February 1, at 7 p.m. in the Community Room at Township Hall. Members of the public are invited to attend, and time will be alloted for residents to voice their ideas on how to improve leaf management in the Township.

On or about February 1, Mercer Street will be closed to through traffic for reconstruction. Detour routes have been posted, and motorists are advised to expect heavy delays during peak travel times. Closure and reconstruction is expected to last six months. (See article on page 1.)

Appraisal Systems Inc. has posted updated valuations for Borough residential properties on its web site, http://asinj.com/revaluation.asp?p=current&id, allowing property owners to compare their own reevaluations with those of others.

The Princeton Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) is co-sponsoring a one-day nuclear disarmament lobby trip to Washington, D.C. with the Philadelphia-based Project on Nuclear Awareness (PNA) on Thursday, February 11. Participants will leave Philadelphia at 7 a.m. and return at approximately 8 p.m. “The global abolition of nuclear weapons was CFPA’s founding goal 30 years ago, and we have tremendous opportunities in 2010,” said CFPA Director The Rev.
