Peek-Goldston. Kathryn Mary Peek, daughter of Teresa and Dr. William Peek of Lewiston, New York, to Joshua Eli Goldston, son of Drs. Ruth and Robert Goldston of Princeton. The ceremony took place at the Knox Farm in East Aurora, New York, on July 7.
The bride and groom are both Ph.D. candidates in astrophysics at the University of California at Berkeley, where they met.
Ms. Peek, who graduated summa cum laude from Mount Holyoke College, is a member of the California and Carnegie Planet Search team. She is studying the radioactive elements in stars. She also works with Project ASTRO, which brings astronomy to local classrooms.
Mr. Goldston graduated from Princeton Friends School and Princeton Day School. He received his B.A. from Harvard College. His research focuses on the ongoing formation of the Milky Way Galaxy. He is also technical director of the Elastic Future Theater Company in San Francisco.
