HIGH DRAMA: The Princeton Student Film and Video Festival kicks off Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the public library and continues on Thursday. Following the screenings, some filmmakers will be on hand to discuss their work. This film still from Justin Ho’s “Enamour” shows the main character reflecting on a past romance. Running an alternating current of high drama, hilarity, and heartstring-tugging, the festival combines various genres and styles with intent to appeal to a broad audience.

Princeton Student Film and Video Festival Looking to Delight Viewers in Its Seventh Year

With genres as diverse as romance, comedy thrillers, and music videos, 24 short films comprise this year’s Princeton Student Film and Video Festival sponsored by the Princeton Public Library. The cinematic experience kicks off on Wednesday, July 21 at 7 p.m. in the library’s Community Room, and continues on Thursday, July 22 at 7 p.m.

A visitor’s experience of the new Nassau Hall exhibit “Inner Sanctum: Memory and Meaning in Princeton’s Faculty Room at Nassau Hall,” may be enriched (or interrupted, according to one’s taste) by the orientations for prospective Princeton University students that take place there daily at 10 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., or by the voices of passing student tour guides.

Turning Lemons Into Lemonade: Library’s Used Book Sale Is a Winner
