Stanton Jonathan Brooks, 50, of Willingboro, formerly of Princeton, died March 9.
Born in Princeton, he lived in Willingboro for more than 30 years.
He was educated in the Trenton and Princeton public school systems and graduated from Willingboro High School.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Mr. Brooks was formerly employed by the Willingboro Board of Education. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Son of the late Howard J. Brooks, brother of the late Darrell J. Brooks and Novella V. Brooks, he is survived by his mother, Carrie Carter Brooks; a son, Xavier Chaney Brooks; a sister, Beverlee Brooks; a brother, Howard B. Brooks; and two special friends, Ruth Baker and Wanda Sease.
The funeral service was March 20 at First Baptist Church in Princeton. Interment was in the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown.
Arrangements were by the Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton.
Elizabeth B. Wyche, 94, of Princeton, died March 14.
The daughter of Walter and Georgiana Jarmon of Whaleysville, Md., she was educated in Berlin, Md. She came to Princeton in 1947.
In 1931 she married Farrel Bowen and through this union one son, Samuel L. Bowen, was born. In 1949 she married the late Lorenzo N. Wyche.
She worked for the U.S. Army during World War II as a long distance truck driver hauling prisoners of war and ammunition.
She was a faithful and devoted member of Mt. Pisgah AME church in Princeton, where she served as an usher and member of the choir until 1989.
She was predeceased by her twin sister Gertrude, two sisters, four brothers, and a granddaughter. She is survived by her son Samuel L. Bowen of Ewing; two nieces she raised as her daughters, Diane McKinney of Trenton and Lois Smith of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a goddaughter, Annie Heard of Princeton; two grandsons; and a special friend, Jerry Crawford of Princeton.
Services were private. Arrangements were by the Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton.
Norman Hughes Voorhees, 96, of Deer Isle, Maine, formerly of Harlingen, N.J., died March 19 at Blue Hill Hospital, Blue Hill, Maine.
Mr. Voorhees farmed in Belle Mead for 30 years. He was an active member of the Montgomery Volunteer Fire Company and the Belle Mead Farmer’s Cooperative. He was a life member and elder in the Harlingen Reformed Church. For several years he worked as a guard at Frick Labs at Princeton University. Before moving to Maine in 2008, he resided in Redington Beach, Fla. and later in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Son of the late Freddie Hughes Voorhees and Edna Brokaw Voorhees of Harlingen, he was predeceased also by his wives Helen Vielock Voorhees, Christine Allsopp Lens, Dorothy Van Olst Brooks, and Elizabeth Duyckinck; two brothers, Stanley B. Voorhees and Elton L. Voorhees; and a sister, Ruth Seals. He is survived by a daughter, Norma Sheard of Deer Isle, previously of Flemington, N.J.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Interment of his ashes will be at the Rocky Hill Cemetery at the convenience of his family.

Celia H. Skillman, 94, of Hamilton, formerly of Princeton, died March 21 in Care One at Hamilton.
Born and raised in Jamesburg, Mrs. Skillman was a resident of Princeton until 1956 and had resided in Hamilton for over 50 years.
She was employed for many years at The Grotto Annex and Lahiere’s restaurants in Princeton.
She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church of Mercerville, and former member of St. Paul’s Church of Princeton. She was the first president of Ladies Auxiliary of Princeton Eagles, a member of Princeton and Hamilton Senior Center, and a member of the Four Seasons senior citizens of Hamilton. An avid bingo and card player, she also enjoyed photography and painting while she was at Care One.
She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anastasia Godlewski, wife of the late James L. Skillman, sister of the late Joseph, Frank, Stella and Mary, and grandmother of the late James S. Skillman Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Sarah Traegler of Hamilton Township and Maria Kovach of Allentown; a son, James Skillman of Hillsbrough, N.C.; a sister, Sophia Gall; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was March 24 at The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul’s Church. Burial was in Princeton Cemetery.
