PDS Reaches $34 Million With Fund-raising Campaign

Princeton Day School recently announced that it has already raised $34 million toward its $50 million fund-raising campaign, "Investing in Excellence."

Board Discusses Funding, Military Recruitment

At its October 25 meeting, the Princeton Regional Board of Education accepted $108,000 from the state's Early Launch to Learning Initiative to fund a second year of the district's preschool program. The funds will be used for the 2005-2006 school year, and will pay for teacher salaries and benefits, general classroom supplies, professional development, and contracted services.

A Home Furnishings Store Finds New Way To Help Environment

White Lotus, a Princeton home furnishings store, recently took a step toward improving the environment by signing up for 100 percent New Jersey wind power with Community Energy, Inc. (CEI). It is the first small business in the state to join in the environmentally-friendly New Jersey Clean Power Choice program.
