A Princeton Borough Police officer accused of misusing sick time in April, along with 37 other administrative charges, has pleaded guilty to disciplinary charges and will keep his job, according to Borough attorney Michael Herbert. Officer Sean McNeff had faced potential dismissal for two days taken off for what he described as a stomach ailment. A Borough Police investigation, however, countered Officer McNeff’s claim, saying that he had spent the previous day drinking with friends. The settlement, Mr. Herbert said, will not be finalized until later this week. The Borough attorney added that Officer McNeff, a three-and-a-half-year veteran of the Borough Police, would face a penalty. The degree of that penalty will come to light when the settlement is finalized (MH)

PEF is also asking for a show of support to update books in the library’s collection — the average age of which is over 30 years — by sponsoring a new book. Donor forms are available for download on the PEF Web site: www.pefnj.org.
