Borough Council Raises Permit Fees For Parking on Streets and in Lots

Borough Council has voted to increase the cost of overnight parking on Borough streets for residents who don't have a driveway to $30 per quarter from the previous $22.50 a quarter. The fee hike was included in an ordinance that also raised fees for other types of permit parking.

Sandwich Shop Emerges As a Refurbished Haven

Hoagie Haven, Princeton's near-legendary sub shop, has added more than customer space to its refurbished Nassau Street location. One important new element is its expanded menu. But, most notably there are two new but familiar faces behind the counter. After closing its doors for renovations, Hoagie Haven has emerged with new bosses, who are, incidentally, the same couple as the old bosses.

The Owner of A Little Taste of Cuba Lends His Cigar Expertise to a Play

One day Emily Mann walked into A Little Taste of Cuba on Witherspoon Street. And, as owner Jorge Armenteros describes it, "She came in with a sparkle in her eye, thirsty for information and anything she could get her hands on about cigars and cigar making."
