Engagements

John Peterson and Pat Wheeler

Peterson-Wheeler. Buckingham Place residents Pat (right) and John, became engaged in early February, ten months after they met. Ms. Wheeler’s husband passed away many years ago, as did John’s wife; each said that they thought they’d never find another true love. Ms. Wheeler attributes her remarkable recovery from a neck injury last year to meeting Mr. Peterson. Their rings were blessed by a local pastor from Ms. Wheeler’s church, with both families present at a private luncheon at Buckingham Place.

Christine Cully and William King IV

Cully-King. Christine Hollis Cully, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cully of Gstaad, Switzerland, to William King IV, son of William and Barbara King of Skillman.

Ms. Cully, a 2002 graduate of the University of Denver, now resides in San Francisco where she is doing post-graduate work in nutrition and health. Mr. King also graduated from the University of Denver in 2002 and currently lives in San Francisco where he works as a management consultant to Fortune 100 pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

A July wedding in Montecito, California is planned.
