The first tenants at 25 Spring Street could move in as early as this weekend while the first occupants of the townhouses along Chambers Street and Paul Robeson place may arrive as soon as August. Developer Jack Morrison and Sales Manager Jay Goldberg highlighted the news about their respective downtown edifices during Tuesday’s meeting of the Princeton Merchants Association (PMA).
Township Committee approved the introduction of a bond ordinance for appropriating $1,265,400, and authorizing the issuance of $1,202,130 in bonds or notes to finance part of the cost of “various capital improvements.”
The breadth of the immigrant experience was highlighted at Sunday’s community-wide dialogue on immigration held at the Suzanne Patterson Center and sponsored by the Princeton Community Democratic Organization (PCDO) and the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund (LALDEF).

With the official vote tallies in, Jo Butler and Roger Martindell will be running as Democrats for two seats on Borough Council, having garnered 422 and 546 votes in the primary election, respectively. Challenger Anne Neumann received 397 votes. Township Committee members Liz Lempert and Lance Liverman ran unopposed and garnered 745 and 752 votes for Democratic positions on the ballot for November’s election.
As the players on the United States men’s soccer national team practiced at their pre-World Cup training camp at Princeton University last month, they ended the daily sessions with timed runs around Myslik Field.

It all began with a pick-up.
